Terms of Use - Contract

This agreement, between Alyssa Hollis Photo (herein named as TEACHER) and CLIENT, for the Lightroom Editing Mentoring package. The fees are broken down to be paid in full.

*By signing this you understand that this investment fee is NOT refundable for ANY reason. 

By committing to this process, you are committing to follow the program in order to see results.

By committing you understand that results take time and do not happen overnight. 

By committing you understand it is your responsibility to reach out to Alyssa Hollis for any and all questions you have when you feel stuck. 

The TEACHER will be showcasing Lightroom editing skills and going over every single slider. The MENTOR will be working with a base of her own personal presets. 

The service provided to the CLIENT by the TEACHER is Lightroom Editing Mentoring, as designed jointly with the CLIENT. MENTORING, which is not directive advice, or counseling, may address overall goals, specific projects, or general conditions in the CLIENT's life or profession. TEACHING services may include Lightroom editing, tips + tricks to make your editing process smoother, faster and more enjoyable, a private Facebook group where CLIENT will be able to ask extensive questions, receive customized constructive criticism and have access to other editing videos as the TEACHER releases them for as long as they are in the group and the group remains active. 

The TEACHER promises that all information provided by the CLIENT will be kept strictly confidential, as permissible by law. Which means no screen recording or sharing videos with anyone who has not purchased the program. 

Throughout the relationship, the TEACHER will engage in direct and personal conversations with the CLIENT, which will include asking explicit questions and making requests. The purpose of these interactions is to remind the CLIENT of his/her own intentions, and MENTOR him/her to realize them. In order for our relationship to achieve the maximum result, the MENTOR asks that the CLIENT agree to the following:

1. Please understand that the TEACHER is not liable for the growth of the CLIENT. The CLIENT must put in the effort to grow in their editing once they have gone through the mentorship. This includes the CLIENT to ask the TEACHER questions and not expect the TEACHER to assume you are struggling.  

2. Be honest and participate fully and be prepared to put in the work it takes to grow.

3. Ask questions and give honest feedback.

4. Share on social media your growth and tag @alyssahollisphoto when speaking of the course. 

5. Respect Alyssa Hollis and her set business hours when seeking help. If Alyssa is not able to help immediately with any issue she will gladly let you know when she will next be available. 

6. Must understand that Alyssa Hollis is working with a numerous amount of mentees, sessions, clients and her own children at home and while you are a major priority in her life that she appreciates but please keep in mind that time does have to be distributed between many things and if she can not get to right away please be patient with her in the process of getting back to you. You are valued. 

Except as expressly provided in this agreement, the TEACHER makes no guarantees or warranties. The TEACHER is not liable for your growth. This editing mentorship will not give you overnight success or instant change in your work. Presets are not a one click wonder. You will have to put in the work and hours of practice after you view all the videos in the package plus put in daily practice to achieve your goals. The TEACHER, Alyssa Hollis is not to be held responsible for your lack of effort or growth and in no event will the TEACHER be liable to the CLEINT for consequential or special damages. Notwithstanding any damages that the CLIENT may incur. The TEACHER is not liable for your lack of understanding or retaining the information provided but the mentor will work as hard as she can to get you where you need to be as an artist with gentle guidance but you have to reach out. Do not feel as if you are burdening the TEACHER with your frequent questions- that is what she is here for.

•••The CLIENT is not permitted to screen record and or share the editing course in any form or redistribute it to anyone for any reason. This will come back to the TEACHER as this community talks heavily so please use your common sense and integrity.

Thank you for your respect in this manor. This is a form of livelihood for the TEACHER and if you share what you have purchased with anyone else that hinders the TEACHERS'S business greatly. 

•By signing this The CLIENT agrees to wait at least 1 year before they begin to teach in the photo editing education industry - if that is something you are planning to do in the future. Meaning online or in-person editing teaching. 

• By singing this you understand fully that If for any reason the CLIENT decides after the 1 year term of this contract expires that they want to begin teaching editing they will be removed from the Facebook group without warning to protect the MENTOR in the future. 

•By singing this contract the CLIENT agrees to never tweak and sell the presets made by Alyssa Hollis under any circumstance.

This is the entire agreement of the parties, and reflects a complete understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter. This agreement supersedes all prior written and oral representations.

The CLIENT's signature on this agreement indicates compliance with the above requests, and understanding of the services to be provided.

Please keep in mind that Alyssa Hollis is in the Eastern standard timezone when communicating or sending messages. Alyssa's business hours are from 9-2:30 pm m-f.
